Given the current situation with the Coronavirus outbreak, we have decided to update some of our policies.
At the moment, the risk of contracting the virus in Perth remains low. However, in order to control the spread of the virus and avoid potential business disruption and cancellation of services, we are implementing a policy to protect our clients, staff and other individuals in our office. We ask for all clients' cooperation at this time.
If any of the following applies to you, we ask that you do not attend the office in person:
You are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, even mild ones.
Someone in your household is experiencing cold or flu symptoms, even mild ones.
You or someone in your household has returned from overseas or interstate in the last 14 days.
You or someone in your household is being tested for the coronavirus and is awaiting results.
You have had close contact with anyone diagnosed with coronavirus.
You are required to self-isolate.
Please call us to discuss and we can accommodate a telephone or Skype appointment for you.
Until further notice, all telephone and Skype appointments will be offered at a 10% discount. This will be offered regardless of the reason for the appointment. All services can be offered by telephone and Skype for any client who cannot attend in person or simply prefers to avoid coming into the office.
We will also waive any cancellation fees that would otherwise apply in the following circumstances:
You have cold or flu symptoms and are too unwell to participate effectively in mediation by telephone or Skype.
You are caring for someone who is unwell and you are not able to participate effectively in mediation by telephone or Skype.
Your child's school closes and you are required to look after them.
In the above circumstances, you will need to provide a medical certificate or the confirmation of school closure. Your illness does not need to be a confirmed case of coronavirus - we will waive the cancellation fee for any cold or flu type illness. You will still be required to reschedule your appointment as soon as it is possible to do so. Any cancellation fee which would otherwise have applied will be credited to a new appointment. This will not apply if you cancel your appointment and choose to no longer participate in mediation, in which case the usual cancellation policy will apply.
We hope that everybody stays well during this uncertain time and we will endeavour to continue to provide services to those who need them.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us to discuss further. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
